Your first Women in SAP in-person event for 2024 is about Inclusive Design, Inclusiveness in the Workplace and also How to Stand Out.
This half-day regional women in SAP event will be hosted by Dormakaba in Hitchin, join this event to:
The day will start with an informative session on inclusivity design delivered by Iain Jones, Head of Specification and Development, and his design team from Dormakaba. Iain will explain how the design of buildings and spaces has changed to be more inclusive, welcoming and diverse; how has educating architects changed and what is their main focus when designing new spaces and buildings. The design team will also be sharing the key trends right now that are making our spaces better for all along with some simple tips on what you can do to make your space more inclusive.
Thrive, our Mental Health partners will also be there to discuss inclusiveness in the workplace. Highlighting the urgent need to recognise and respond to the reality of late neurodiverse diagnoses in women, and the impact on their mental health. This session explores the unique journey of this transition, shedding light on challenges faced by women and how employers can create the optimal environment to support their neurodiverse female workforce through life's changing themes. Join Simon Nichols and Ruth Harrison-Swift as they discuss strategies for fostering an inclusive and productive environment, promoting a workplace that embraces diversity and ensures every individual's well-being.
The last session of the day is an interactive one on ‘how to stand out’ with some practical tips around making your voice heard, managing your perception etc by Erin Johnson, Kimberley Orriss and Jenna Higgs from the Dormakaba team.
