If existing SAP customers weren’t confused, surely they must be now.
The pending deadline of 2027 end of life support for ECC looms and recent announcements by SAP will no doubt be sending them into a tailspin.
In an attempt to encourage existing SAP ECC customers to take the leap and make the journey to SAP S/4HANA, SAP announced SAP RISE in January 2021.
SAP RISE is a commercial vehicle bundling a number of products and services under one contract. Perpetual licensing with annual maintenance went away and pricing was based on a new user model called Full User Equivalent, a number that corresponds to the number of individuals authorised to access specified solution capabilities of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Service.
Back then [2021] existing customers had a choice to stay On-Premise or move to SAP RISE, now things are different. In July 2023 SAP announced that there will only be new innovations in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public and Private versions. Add to this the announcement for On-Premise customers of the maintenance price rise in 2023 and another due in 2024 and customers quite likely feel the ‘stick’ is being wielded.
In this webinar Delaware want to explore the options for migration with you from a viewpoint of benefits, drawbacks, investment required and risks.
Do you do nothing and ignore the deadline? Are you already in the cloud? If so, what does this mean for you? Are you considering moving to RISE? What does it actually mean for you - and how does it happen? Is Public Cloud an option?
One of the things that you need to consider is what are the true benefits of moving to S/4HANA. You’ve heard about it being faster and that Fiori is so much better for your user experience but that isn’t necessarily compelling. We’ll touch on some of the tangible benefits of how S/4HANA can actually improve your business and why it is worth the effort that will be required to migrate.
As this is a Partner sponsored webinar, there may be some restriction on which members can attend. This means that even if your initial booking is accepted, we may contact you to cancel your booking.
Please note by booking a place on this webinar you will not automatically be sent the recording. This will be available to download under Event Resources on this page after the webinar.
