THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT SAP CLOCKHOUSE PLACE
Sue Parsons from Laing O’Rourke will present their Customer Journey
We will catch up with Sue Parsons as Laing O’Rourke continue their journey to convert their systems to SAP S/4HANA, hearing about the lessons that she has learned on the way and how they are informing the next stages of the programme.
Alexander Smith & Harry Tait-Winter from SNP will present Business Value without Business Disruption – Move to S/4HANA on the Cloud in Months
IT leaders today are facing ever growing demands and increasing rates of change, driven by the business and market. There are mounting expectations to keep business critical systems up to date, be innovative and achieve all of this with as little disruption to the business as possible. IT needs to respond quickly and decisively to these demands. Using an innovative, SAP Certified automated software approach you can combine multiple projects, avoid long running IT activities and unnecessary business disruption, and drive down costs in your journey to S/4HANA on the Cloud.
In our session discover how an alternative thinking and an advanced approach, underpinned by powerful transformation software, can automate traditional project tasks, de-risking the project and delivering in months rather than years. Learn how combining technology step changes allows organisations to easily achieve multiple strategic goals in a single project, and also reduce cutover downtimes to a matter of hours.
The session will be supported by a Customer case study, showcasing how the above has been achieved in the context of a real world customer scenario, bringing the challenge and solution to life.
Amanda Gardiner from SAP will look to discuss an introduction on what an Industry Value Advisor is and where the team fit into SAP’s Approach to support Customer Success from Value Discover to Value Realisation.
Amanda will talk about how their team assist customers with SAP's ‘Move the Needle’ approach which is where they compare pre-defined select Key Performance Indicators of a company with its peers/competitors based on publicly available information and show incremental benefits.
There will also be Business Cases – SAP can build outside-in cases for change or can create deep-dive collaborative business cases with customers, linking process capabilities, products, value/benefits, cost and project economics.
Finally Performance Benchmarking where SAP help organisations benchmark key business metrics and identify critical process maturity gaps in an objective manner through guided maturity models. Amanda will also provide real customer examples from her team on how these sessions help.
Mike Longden from SAP will present an SAP Roadmap update.
