Our Real Estate SIG is a great opportunity for users to come together to network and learn from each other’s experiences, whether you are considering implementing RE-FX or have been using it for some time.

Associated British Ports' business transformation migrated the company from five regionally varied TRAMPS databases, estate terriers managed in CAD and local document filing systems to a centrally managed SAP ReFX database (as well as Accounts Receivable, Billing and Revenue Management). This was integrated with a GIS Data Viewer & OpenText document management system. In order for this to be successful it required a huge amount of time spent on getting the data right and engaging the team with the new technology to make their jobs easier. The business has benefited immensely from this transformational change and is now looking at the next areas for improvement.

Your UKISUG SIG Chair for Real Estate is Claire Hounsham. Claire has worked in the affordable housing sector for 18 years and was part of a project team which delivered the first in sector implementation of SAP in 2016. She is currently the Lead Functional Architect for Real Estate responsible for working closely with the business to deliver change and system development.
