BPC is dead… Long Live BPC!

In the last few years, there have been many changes in the SAP Ecosystem starting with the release of the HANA in Memory Database, the announcement and release of S/4HANA, the release of BW/4HANA version 1 & 2, and the release of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC); each one of these announcements has impacted BPC in one way or another and has left many BPC customers wondering about the future direction of all of the different versions of BPC.

In this session, Teklink will review the history of BPC and how each event in the SAP environment has impacted BPC. They will review the different frameworks currently under support and will discuss the available maintenance window and migration options. Additionally, Teklink will do a detailed comparison of the 2 main flavours of BPC, BPC Embedded, and BPC standard by listing the main benefits and drawbacks.

They will review the current SAP Roadmap for planning applications and will review the SAP roadmap for Consolidation solutions that includes SAP’s Cloud and on-premise offerings.

As part of this session, Teklink will deliver an overview of SAP Analytics Cloud and the Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and advance visualisation features that set it apart from other solutions. They will discuss how BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud can be integrated to enhance BPC capabilities without disrupting your current implementation by leveraging the SAP delivered connectivity capabilities to simply replicate the data and create high impact dashboards and leverage predictive forecasting features to improve your forecast accuracy, reduce the time required for planning processed and leverage SAP Analytics Cloud Augmented BI Capabilities. You will learn how leveraging this hybrid approach allows you to use SAC to collect data from the field using mobile devices and store it back in BPC.
