The automotive manufacturer is developing the SAP EWM system at its UK site, further digitising its process landscape through migrating from mainly SAP IM and WM on SAP R/3 to EWM on SAP S/4HANA, and it was seeking a supplier with specialist EWM skills to support this transition.
The project will see our team of EWM consultants, over the course of three years, designing, building and testing the new EWM solution, preparing for go-live, overseeing the go-live, and providing post-implementation support to the internal team.
As part of delivering the requirements, our team will be working closely with business stakeholders to design and configure the EWM functionality to meet the company’s needs, incorporating its set manner of working, testing and resolving defects, and knowledge transfer through carrying out user training for the newly implemented solution.
The EWM solution will be delivered in an agile, sprint-based approach according to the manufacturer’s ‘Agile Working Model’.
