Coming up against very strong competition, it was our gamification aspect of PreBilt for EWM that set us apart from other entries and impressed the judges. With the selection criteria based on the most compelling innovation in the supply chain, our entry was deemed to stand out for the business value and differentiation it delivers to customers.

With the widely acknowledged labour shortage across the supply chain industry, gamification has been developed to help aid recruitment and retention by improving employee engagement and motivation.

The innovative solution enables customers to add game elements to any warehouse task, making daily activities more enjoyable for the user and rewarding them when they reach key milestones. Users receive notifications for achievements during task execution and can monitor progress at any time, from any PreBilt screen.

Making it simple for customers to implement, the functionality is easily controlled from the SAP warehouse monitor and is completely configurable enabling the customer to select which activities to add game elements to, set the thresholds for completing a challenge and choose the participants.

While the employee engagement benefits are clear, gamification can also drive productivity and help maintain quality standards to drive operational efficiencies.
