Building for the Future with S/4HANA

BSW Timber Solutions, one of the largest processors and distributors of timber products in the UK, is expanding its operations in the UK and embarking on a new project to upgrade its IT infrastructure and SAP landscape within its four UK sites, as part of its commitment to continuous improvement. Demonstrating not only our expertise and capabilities in S/4HANA, but also our project management skills, which are driven by our collaborative and honest approach, was key in our team being selected to lead this programme of work.

The new project to update the company’s internal systems and processes aims to streamline BSW Timber Solutions’ operations, with products moving through the supply chain quicker, more efficiently and with greater traceability. The infrastructure improvements will increase the speed and accuracy with which the team can respond to customer queries, process orders and manage invoices, to deliver an enhanced customer experience.

Collaborating with our long-term partners Centiq, SAP HANA and S/4 Migration specialists, we will be working closely together, both focusing on our individual specialisms and bringing those together to deliver an end-to-end solution. The business transformation project will see our team of expert SAP S/4HANA consultants and project managers deliver the migration of the existing ECC solution to S/4HANA. The solution will involve a data carve out of the relevant elements from the existing suite on ECC and migrating to the Microsoft Azure landscape, before transitioning the solution to SAP S/4HANA.
