The UK Payroll focus group is one of the best supported and best attended of all of the SAP UK & Ireland User Group communities.
Sunderland City Council is delivering a programme of continuous improvement for HR and Payroll processes, to realise significant process efficiencies.
In times when local government funding is very tight, the Council does not have the option to implement S/4HANA and SuccessFactors but has found ways to deliver real improvements despite these constraints.
Working together with Arch, the Council has implemented a solution to manage the creation and issuance of employee correspondence, making a 30% saving in manual processes. The Council is also working alongside Arch as a co-innovator of Looply, a new platform to extend SAP notification and approval processes into Microsoft Teams.
In the first session, David Freeman, SAP Technical Specialist at Sunderland City Council, will describe the processes, and the benefits, and show demonstrations of the results. He will also describe plans for further process improvements in HR and Payroll processes.
Chris Scott from Arch will present more detail about what’s possible with the tools used by Sunderland City Council.
After a short break, Natasha Robinson and Elaine Miller from SAP will deliver a Legal Update which takes customers through any legal changes being delivered in the software.
At the end of the event, there will be a facilitated Q&A session with Natasha Robinson where she will be answering pre-submitted questions from attendees. This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask our SAP experts any questions you have about our Payroll SIG or the topics that will be discussed. So don’t miss out, contact [email protected] no later than Wednesday 7th February with any questions you have. Any questions raised after the deadline will be prioritised to be answered at the next event.
