Our Irish HR & Payroll Special Interest Group (SIG) is one of only two Special Interest Groups for Irish customers. It was set up due to the degree of complexity in processing payrolls, and the high rate of system modifications that are required, typically, to ensure compliance with constantly changing legal and statutory requirements. Given this scenario, regular, ongoing communication between SAP and users is particularly important and is the prime function of the Payroll SIG.

The SIG ensures Irish customers are up to date with all budget changes as well as know new functionality that is available to them as a result of either change requests or new SAP functionality. Bianca Ball from SAP will be the main speaker at this event.

We will start with the Legal Updates, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest legal changes and updates in the industry. The session will cover a range of topics, including the Budget 2024, Gender Pay Gap, Pension Auto Enrolment and Pan European Personal Pension, Bianca will provide valuable insights and practical advice on how to navigate these changes and ensure compliance in your organization.

After a short comfort break, we will be discussing another hot topic - Enhanced Reporting Requirements. From 1 January 2024, the requirement of reporting details on certain payments will commence. Bianca will cover the overview of legal requirements, an overview of the SAP solution, timelines of delivery of the solution and how can customers prepare. This session helps you to find out what information you need to report and how to be aware of when submitting those reports.
