Our UK Payroll Special Interest Group (SIG) is one of our best supported and best attended of all of the SIG’s. The high level of interest reflects both the degree of custom complexity in processing payrolls and the constant changes in UK payroll legislation.

Achieving HR data compliance doesn't necessitate a compromise on data accessibility. In the Proceed Group's session, attendees will be introduced to the tools available that bridge the gap between robust compliance and unobstructed data access. Mark Johnson will delve deeper into select tools, providing live demonstrations to show how they function, and the data handling and retrieval process.

Moreover, by drawing from our experiences with leading brands, Mark will spotlight the unique challenges they've faced, particularly when conflicting regulations dictate diverse data access needs, and how they've successfully navigated these issues. As we conclude, HR and Payroll professionals will gain actionable insights to ensure their compliance projects effectively maintain the delicate balance between stringent regulations and necessary data access.

We will be joined by Tony Moran from Mitchells & Butlers delivering a session on LSMW. Tony will give a brief overview of how Mitchells and Butlers have used this data migration tool to deliver business requirements without costly customisation. LSMW is a tool normally associated with data migration for SAP implementation projects. Here at M&B, we have made extensive use of the tool for BAU purposes, delivering quick data update solutions. We have also used it to enhance and improve HR and Payroll processes which go beyond the usual data upload scenarios. We hope other users might benefit from our experience in this area.

And Natasha Robinson from SAP will deliver a Legal Update.
