Training & Change Management

The Training and Change Management SIG attracts and brings together those who train trainers, train end users and those who have an interest in or are new to training, to showcase and discuss different training ideologies, methods and tools. It is also for those involved in managing change, concentrating on the impact of change to the users.

Nicky Triggs from NTT DATA Business Solutions will present Enablement in the Post Pandemic World.

As a result of the pandemic, Training Teams were forced to adapt to delivering courses remotely and online. In the post pandemic world, whilst there will be a return to classroom training, it is likely that a large proportion of training will remain online as learners have come to enjoy the freedom of being able to learn on demand.

As digital technology continues to progress, pushing more frequent changes and updates to systems, training multimodality is becoming increasingly important.

This session will explore how to make content as digestible and engaging (almost fun) as possible to bridge the gap of through-the-screen learning.

To demonstrate how this can be achieved, tools such as SAP Enable Now, Qualtrics, Mentimeter, Mural and VideoScribe can be used to assist with the creation of interactive, bite-sized chunks of learning that can be delivered at the point of need, in the flow of work, whilst keeping learners motivated and engaged.

Amanda Maguire from SAP will be presenting a session on Change Management.

The world is transforming and our change management approach needs to evolve to keep up. There are fundamentals which we shouldn't lose sight of in the rush of new ways to do things, but what is essential is to change our approach so we are effective in managing agile change projects. In this meeting we will address the following questions:

• What does the move to cloud mean for how we conduct change?
• Who will need to be influenced to achieve successful change?
• How do we manage continuous learning?
