THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON TEAMS

We will be kicking off your first Public Sector SIG of 2022 with an exclusive Coffee Session for you and your Public Sector community, this will be followed up with a RISE Update from SAP and the use of Payroll in Public Sector organisations.

Verna Tomkinson from OpenText will present How to serve your Clients - A personalised employee experience for Public Services

How Public Services can enable their employees to concentrate on delivering best in class services and support to critical changes at pace - Whilst, enabling your HCM systems to deliver at pace, improve productivity to all of your Public Sector clients:

  • Transformed HR Business experience
  • How you can support personalized employee experiences at scale
  • Collaboration and easy access to support current and new staff
  • Moving to cloud to reduce debt linked to legacy systems

Simon Carpenter from SAP will present a session on Leveraging the Cloud to deliver Public Sector Transformation.

Public Sector operates within a dynamic and volatile economic and societal context driving the need to transform government agencies into proactive, efficient and insightful service organisations – data driven and citizen focused. This transformation will be largely digital in nature with cloud computing playing a central role in successful implementation. Government agencies investing in digital transformation across all lines of their business are focused on four priorities:

  • Putting the Citizen at the centre
  • Leveraging Data as an asset
  • Re-imagining business processes and models
  • Attracting and enabling the Workforce of the Future

Implicit in these four priorities is the need for a platform that can provide the functional, integration and analytical capabilities required. It must also enable governments to use intelligent automation to enable their employees to focus on more complex, human-centric service delivery and political governance responsibilities thus maximising value to all stakeholders within budgetary constraints. They also need to simplify complicated processes and provide more personalised, self-managed services for citizens available via a growing number of digital channels. Intelligent technologies with conversational user interfaces will be utilised for better delivery of services.

Accomplishing successful transformation is just the beginning; thereafter there needs to be continuous improvement to ensure progress on all fronts.

Moving to the cloud provides the opportunity to focus on business improvement and innovation rather than on running IT per se but there is more to this than simply moving existing applications to someone else’s computer. Recognising this SAP introduced RISE with SAP to the market as a solution that enables organisations to safely, quickly and effectively move to the cloud. In this session we will look at what RISE with SAP encompasses and how it can help organisations to accelerate their transformation through innovation and continuous improvement.

Natasha Robinson from SAP will present What are Your Options for SAP Payroll in Public Sector?

Understand the different SAP solutions available to customers when reviewing their payroll strategy. The session will include a high level overview of Multiple Employment maintenance in ECP.

There will be an opportunity to pre-submit questions for a Q&A with Natasha Robinson. Please ensure that any questions you have are sent to [email protected] no later than Wednesday 16th March.
