Wrap Up: UKISUG Connect 2024
UKISUG Connect 2024 has come to a close, marking three incredible days of knowledge sharing, hands-on learning, networking and even some festive fun with an après-ski theme! Highlights and Innovations
Workshops and Hands-On Learning: Attendees dived into practical topics, such as integrating Microsoft with SAP, exploring the SAP Attack Surface and developing applications with SAP Build and Joule. These sessions ensured participants left with actionable insights and skills.
Keynotes That Inspired: Conor Riordan and Leila Romane and other inspiring guests delivered insightful keynotes, addressing the evolving SAP landscape and the resources available to support our members. Highlights included the launch of our S/4HANA Technical Academy in early 2025 and SAP’s commitment to enhancing skills availability. Read more here.
Customer Excellence: AstraZeneca’s keynote shared lessons from their Axial business transformation programme, offering valuable insights into implementing enterprise-wide changes. Read more here.
TECHx at Connect: UKISUG Connect was part of SAP TechEd on Tour and offered two focused tech streams for the first time.
International Guests: We welcomed seven international SAP User Groups and hosted a special programme for strategic and operational exchanges.
Wellness Walk: In partnership with Thrive Neurodiversity & Mental Health, we introduced a guided walk around Birmingham to enhance physical and mental wellbeing—a unique way to start each conference day.
Charity Fundraising: Together, we raised an incredible £7,857 for Cancer Research UK, a 45% increase from last year. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
