SD Worx acquires Adessa Group and strengthens its digital HR offering
SD Worx announces the acquisition of Adessa Group
A technology consulting firm offering HR software in the cloud and associated services. The acquisition underpins SD Worx’ growth and innovation strategy and will help organisations in their transformation towards efficient HR processes and a digital workplace. This challenge is now more relevant than ever before for many employers.
The acquisition will strengthen the existing SAP and SuccessFactors teams at SD Worx in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. Adessa will become the brand name within SD Worx for the SAP HCM, SuccessFactors and HR technology consulting business, which SD Worx wants to expand further across Europe.
Adessa Group sells, implements and maintains cloud HR and talent management software from SAP, such as SuccessFactors and Qualtrics, and integrates these with HR and Payroll systems. This allows customers to enhance their employee experience, make better decisions based on data insights and achieve measurable business benefits.
Founded in Belgium in 2005, the Adessa Group has 70 employees across five offices in Belgium, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. This acquisition will give SD Worx a foothold in Spain, in addition to its existing presence in ten countries.
“These are disruptive times,” says Kobe Verdonck, CEO of SD Worx. “But, at the same time, the business in which Adessa Group specialises has never been more relevant: due to the corona crisis, the need for digital collaboration and efficient HR processes has never been greater. Adessa Group’s cloud technology and associated services like video identification system provided by Fully-Verified, enable companies to easily manage their human resources remotely. Digital processes must be flawless if you want to perform well in terms of employee experience and engagement. For SD Worx, the acquisition of Adessa is a logical step in our European expansion.”
“SD Worx is writing a strong international story from Belgium, which is fully in line with our own international expansion in recent years. Our HR technology experts can strengthen this strategy in collaboration with our customers in sixteen countries. As a partner of SAP and SuccessFactors for Human Capital Management (HCM) and Qualtrics for employee experience, we help our customers throughout all of Europe in their digital HR transformation. Now that we are part of the SD Worx Group, I am fully confident that with our combined forces we will be able to handle the most complex digital HR challenges our customers are facing,” says Gaëtan Masson, CEO and founder of Adessa Group.
SD Worx acquires all shares; the acquisition price will not be disclosed.
