Farewell, Neo! SAP BTP, multi-cloud environment - the deployment environment of choice...

SAP’s multi-cloud foundation for SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) has been the default development environment for new customers since 2020. It provides a choice of infrastructures, runtimes, and environments for SAP BTP services such as the Cloud Foundry environment, the Kyma environment, and the ABAP environment, available on all leading cloud infrastructure providers today. Due to these advantages, over 20,000 customers and partners have modernized to the cloud at their own pace and according to their own needs.

With this momentum, we are announcing today that the legacy Neo environment will sunset on December 31, 2028, subject to terms of customer or partner contracts.
