Changes in SAP Executive Board

SAP has announced key leadership changes, including the formation of an Extended Board to enhance efficiency and drive transformation. Sebastian Steinhaeuser has been appointed to the SAP Executive Board, leading the new Strategy & Operations board area to streamline operations and execute SAP’s corporate strategy. Additionally, Thomas Saueressig’s contract as head of Customer Services & Delivery has been extended until 2028. The Extended Board will include senior leaders such as the newly appointed CTO, Co-CROs and CMO, aligning global leadership with SAP’s AI-first, Suite-first strategy.

Further strengthening its leadership, SAP has named Philipp Herzig as its new global CTO, overseeing technology strategy, innovation and AI advancements. Jan Gilg and Emmanuel Raptopoulos will serve as Co-CROs, leading SAP’s Customer Success organisation across various global regions. These changes, effective from 1st February 2025, aim to accelerate SAP’s transformation, improve customer engagement and ensure long-term success.
