Celebrating 100 episodes of SUGTalks
We recently reached two amazing milestones of the SUGTalks podcast: 10,000 downloads and 100 episodes. Many thanks to everyone who has listened and subscribed! This a great opportunity to look back at some of the most memorable recent episodes, and look ahead to what we have in store over the coming weeks.
Some of our most popular episodes have been where we tackle technical subjects in an approachable way. For instance, our recent episode on Demystifying SAP Clean Core, saw Bert Schulze and Lars Rueter from SAP discuss the concept of ‘Clean Core’, its benefits, and how users can go about implementing one.
Our deep dive into the Future of AI and SAP was equally popular. Timo Elliott and Vivien Boche from SAP highlighted some of the current AI tools users can already take advantage of, and also discussed what further innovations we can expect to see in the future.
We’ve also looked to address the key issues affecting the SAP community on the podcast. When SAP launched its RISE with SAP Migration and Modernisation Programme we produced a dedicated episode discussing what the programme was and how it could benefit users.
More widely we’ve also focused on wider issues to help support our members. As part of our partnership with mental health organisation Thrive, we’ve recorded numerous episodes tackling a number of mental health issues. From how we can ensure change positively impacts our lives to supporting people suffering from depression in the workplace, our mental health-focussed episodes have proven to be very popular. We hope they have provided some useful and valuable advice to our listeners.
Earlier this year, we were also joined by AI expert Katie King to give a non-SAP-focussed insight into the impact of AI technology on the world of business. The discussion covered whether AI is an opportunity or a risk to businesses, the need for regulation, and what the next major AI development might be.
If you haven’t listened to our 100th episode, we’d strongly recommend doing so. Gerren Mayne, host of SAPCHAT, once again joins us as guest host – alongside regular guest Simon Nichols, CEO of Thrive, to grill Craig on the conception of the podcast. In addition, Simon gets to get his own back on Craig by asking some tricky ice-breaker questions.
Coming up in the next few weeks, we will have a preview of TECHx, which will be taking place at the CONNECT conference later this year, as well as a deep dive on how to get the most from SAP support.
