Swiss Re moves to Microsoft Azure Public Cloud as platform for IT modernisation

As part of an IT modernisation initiative, Swiss Re targeted 2020 to stop operating its own data centrer. After moving to private cloud, they moved its SAP S/4HANA system to the public cloud based on Microsoft Azure. The migration helped the companyboost efficiency, improve the availability of core SAP applications, minimise operating costs and optimise capital investment. The programme also increased agility to develop prototypes and to evaluate new enterprise application feature.
