The Config Team Retains ISO 9001 and 27001 Accreditations
ISO 9001 defines the requirements for a quality management system that ensures consistent customer satisfaction and continual improvement. ISO 27001 specifies the best practices for an information security management system that covers the security of assets, financial information, intellectual property, employee details and third-party information.
We first received ISO accreditation in 2021. The 2023 annual surveillance audit entailed a comprehensive review of our systems, processes and procedures by the British Assessment Bureau (BAB), during which a number of members of our team were interviewed to gain a deeper insight into our operations and assess the levels of awareness of our policies and processes.
The ISO 9001 and 27001 audits assess the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of an organisation’s QMS and ISMS. In its latest report, the BAB identified no non-conformances throughout the week-long audit, which is a fantastic result.
Commenting on our ISO certification, our head of business operations, Nick Clare, said:
“Whilst it has always been our intention to implement and operate best practice quality management and information security management systems, it’s great to have that independently verified and to have received such positive feedback again this year.
“We strive for excellence in everything we do, and this is a chance for us to review and enhance our internal practices and policies to ensure we are working effectively and that we have a shared vision across the organisation. It is also a huge advantage for our clients, who can rely on us to have solid practices and follow the best industry standards.”
