David joined the Nationalised CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) as an apprentice at the age of 16, and has over 27 years’ experience in conventional Power Generation working in Maintenance, Engineering and Production.
David joined the Nationalised CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) as an apprentice at the age of 16, and has over 27 years’ experience in conventional Power Generation working in Maintenance, Engineering and Production.
David is currently the ‘Operation and Maintenance Manager for Uniper UK fleet’ of assets and is responsible for their respective process improvements, optimisation and support by the use of SAP PM.
This involves works such as been the business process owner for ‘Setting to work / Safety Process’ and ‘Maintenance Strategy’ that are executed within SAP PM.
He is keen to point out that he is not an ‘IT’ person but an Engineer / Power Station worker at core.
David is an active member of the Maintenance and Service SIG for the last few of years.
