For many SAP customers, a near-term transition to HANA is not planned, but aging infrastructure with respect to supportability and ever widening gaps in SAP release levels can raise concerns for the future. Cloud based SAP infrastructure as a Service is continuing to gain momentum as a best practices approach for hosting SAP and Sungard AS provides SAP Certified Cloud based services for both traditional and HANA based systems. We will discuss how we deliver the benefits of Cloud based SAP platforms with an eye towards managing evolving business needs, including intermediate level migrations for updating traditional SAP systems and simplified later-stage HANA platform migrations.
