Local government plays a crucial role in delivering essential services to residents and businesses within specific geographic areas. These services include familiar functions such as social care, schools, housing, planning and waste collection, as well as less recognised ones like licensing, business support, registrar services and pest control.
Not-for-Profit & Charities
A charity is an organisation dedicated to endeavours such as poverty prevention or relief and the advancement of arts, culture, heritage or science. It must be established exclusively for what is known as public benefit. On the other hand, a not-for-profit organisation does not generate profits for its owners. All earnings from business activities or donations are reinvested into operating the organisation.

Chris Trinder
Chris is a Head Of Technology with 30 years IT experience across both the public and private sector. Chris joined Central Bedfordshire Council in January 2020 to head up an ambitious IT transformation program across all elements of IT.
Jennifer Churchard
Jennifer has over 18 years of experience in SAP and the Public Sector, through the lens of both Local and Central Government. She currently is the Principle ERP Architect at the Department for Transport. Specialising in Shared Services, Jenny is passionate about providing long-term strategic direction and leadership for the development, enhancement and implementation of systems, whilst challenging the status quo.
